The splendor and beauty of the east will be majestically brought to life as New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV) presents the 2008 "Chinese New Year Spectacular." Listed as "Top Ten" shows in North America by Billboard Magazine and rated by the New York Times as "the best Chinese Show of the Year", the Chinese New Year Spectacular will take audiences of all ages on a magical journey back to China's treasured Golden Age when the Chinese culture is free from the communist influence.

Hundreds of performers and musicians will grace the stage of the brand new Nokia Theatre L.A. Live. Produced in New York, and taken Broadway by storm, this is part of a global tour of 65 cities and 220 shows during the 2008 Chinese New Year Season.

Featuring traditional dance, music, song, martial arts, mini-dramas, the Chinese New Year Spectacular celebrates China's rich cultural past with a series of thematic vignettes designed to inspire and educate audiences about authentic Chinese culture.

Accompanied by a live orchestra, each performance is set against a series of vibrant rotating backdrops, ranging from the snow capped mountains of the Himalayas to China's pastel green hillsides, from immense heavenly Chinese palaces to a serene fairyland landscape.
